Bachmanns Schachjahrbuch 1905 I. At the beginning of 1905 I took part in the Vienna tournament. I finished sixth out of ten competitors, ahead of Albin, Neumann and others. My play created an impression. The same is true of the match with Spielmann which followed (+4 -4 = 5). How I became a Grandmaster / Aron Nimzowitsch 1929.
